E-mail

As a rule, I do not check my e-mail with any schedule in mind. Life being fairly hectic and needing every free moment to write, I hope this does not pose a problem.

Social Sites

MySpace

. . .

I love MySpace. You can come and go as you please; if you don't like a space - you simply leave. You don't have to say thank you to the host or excuse yourself. If you do like a space, you can go there and be there 'til all hours of the day or night and as often as you like and no one knows how neurotic about them you are. You can meet the most fascinating people and actually communicate with them. Friendships are formed easily and, on occasion, MySpacers can be met in person! If that's not cool, nothing is.

Facebook

. . .

I am new to Facebook, though feel I could have designed it better. The new thing is to have a "Page" so that your personal profile doesn't get bogged down with too many images. There are rumours that "heavy" Facebook profiles can be deleted, without warning, by Facebook Central. Starting over, of course, is too sad. So I tried to start a Page... three times. Where are they? Oh well, write it off to being the Newbie on the block.

I try to have a camera with me most of the time but that means I am not in the pictures unless I hand the camera to someone else who might not know how to use it. I'm not really vain... just would like a few pix of me that look good. Hopefully you will like what I have collected for my Facebook Page.

Blog

Personally, I think blogs are superfluous... especially for a writer. We write on websites, in books, magazines, for e-publishers and are probably some of the last letter writers. That said, blogs do seem to be used for ideas that either pop into one's head or can those used for networking. Both of these concepts can misshape a website and make it difficult to keep the site slick looking, making the Blog a tidy notepad.

I realise the fleeting nature of the blog is, in itself, its appeal. Yet, daily life is fleeting and the blog, once written, lasts longer. But to blog properly, one must blog the instant that the idea or the happening takes place (which can be stressful) or it becomes outdated.

I have and keep a blog, though tend to write about celebrities I meet. I don't know why. I'm not even a celebrity follower. They just seem to be where I am, at the time, I guess. I also like to show another artist my support and I love movies so these celebs would be the people that show up most frequently on my blogs. Should i change my ways? :)

Like so many others, I do delight in a comment once in a while.

Stores

Lulu

. . .

The Niki Chanel Cafe : Books, of course, can be procured from uh... books stores. But what about just an article or a small booklet? That's where Lulu comes in - at least for me. I am writing articles on relationships, cheap-chic fashions for fun dating and how to flirt. These will become available throughout the rest of the summer and, provided they are well received, they can continue after that. Please feel free to visit this site often for upcoming news about such publications. I look forward to offering more fun and satisfaction to your life.

Squidoo

. . .

Squidoo is another venue that offers quick and easy fun. I will be posting fashionable items for fun dating here in the following months.
